Sean Haskins, while born and raised in Iowa, spent the last decade toiling on the more buttoned-up side of the music world (read: concert promotion, music supervision for commercials and film) first in Seattle, then in New York, then in Seattle, then in Austin, now back in New York where he currently resides. After a quick stint as the drummist for the rarely-seen duo version of American Analog Set in 2007, he returned to the loving arms of Andrew Kenny to keep time for The Wooden Birds. Also? He might honestly think it goes like this: Fleetwood Mac > Beatles > Stones.
