After spending her life calling Texas home, Leslie Sisson currently resides back and forth between Austin and Brooklyn, where she began contributing on vocals and guitar with Andrew Kenny during the birth of The Wooden Birds. Her past includes time in Western Keys, Black Lipstick, The Mona Jane, Tanworth-in-Arden , and Aero Wave on guitar, bass, keys, cello, voice, as well as guest performances for American Analog Set, Windsor for the Derby, and Mark Gardener of Ride. Aside from The Wooden Birds, Leslie also recetnly toured in Matt Pond PA and she just finished her debut solo album Harmony with producer/musician Louie Lino (Nada Surf, Matt Pond PA) in Austin, with an arsenal of special guests from The Wooden Birds, Matt Pond PA, Nada Surf, Broken Social Scene, The Definite Articles, Experimental Aircraft, and more. Additional sightings include traveling rock roadie, eight wheeled roller, two track tire trasher, white Apple adorned device repairer, teen tunes teacher, and master's degree user while molding minds of future filmmakers.
