After spending her life calling Texas home, Leslie Sisson began contributing on vocals and guitar with Andrew Kenny during the birth of The Wooden Birds when they were both living in Brooklyn. Her past includes time in Western Keys, Black Lipstick, The Mona Jane, Tanworth-in-Arden , and Aero Wave on guitar, bass, keys, cello, voice, as well as guest performances for American Analog Set, Windsor for the Derby, and Mark Gardener of Ride. While in The Wooden Birds, Leslie toured in Matt Pond PA and recorded her debut solo album Harmony with Louie Lino (Nada Surf, Matt Pond PA) in Austin, including an arsenal of special guests from The Wooden Birds, Matt Pond PA, Broken Social Scene, Experimental Aircraft, and more. Since then, she formed an all-gal, critically acclaimed dream gaze trio in Austin called Moving Panoramas.
